5 Websites Worth Visiting

Ctrl-Alt-Del

Ctrl-Alt-Del offers both a media site and webcomic and is centered around gaming. Most gamers (both amateur and pro) should find their reviews and news to be of some interest, and the comic (by Tim Buckley) to be pure roflwaffles. The comic has been going on since 2002, and has steadily rose from amusement to sheer hilarity and shows little to no signs of wearing out for many years to come.

TweakXP and TweakVista

These are invaluable resources for any PC power-user. They provide countless tips for improving performance, streamlining operations, and otherwise trimming down the bulk of Microsoft's Windows operating systems. Note that it is unwise to toy around with one's operating system without knowing what one is doing. Therefore, I can only emphasize that the modifications listed on Tweak are best administered by someone knowledgeable of their function.

Amazon.ca

Have trouble finding that book, CD, or video you want in a store? No worries! Amazon has one of the most complete inventories of media available on the web.

FPS God

If you're like me (meaning you suck horrendously at FPS games) or even if you're Goldeneye himself, you could probably benefit from a few pointers on optimizing both your gameplay, and your game itself to improve your experience. FPS God offers just that. While geared more towards Counter-strike, FPS God offers many invaluable, universal tips to make FPS games much less painful for n00bs like you and I. happy.gif

FilePlanet

While probably not the best source of mods for any individual game, FilePlanet offers a decent selection of files for an insuperable array of games. Though the best of its features are reserved for subscribers, a lot of excellent free services are offered.

FilePlanet

The above is a list of websites that have proven themselves invaluable to me over the years and that I hope shall prove useful to you as well. Please note that this list is a work in progress and will most likely grow and change periodically. Suggestions and feedback are appreciated.
